It is a matter of great pride that the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) is ranked one among the Top 200 best Engineering colleges as per NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India since 2017.

Inclusivity, Outreach and Extension Activities

Institute of Aeronautical Engineering comprises of dedicated students are consistently improving their skills about contemporary social and environmental activities, sustainable development and passion for social ethics, with service orientation and holistic development. We develop the leadership and management qualities along with creating an awareness of social responsibilities towards the nation.

We have Outreach Programs and Extension Activities Center (OPEAC) – the tag line of which is “Working with a Smile to bring back a Smile”.

Objectives:

  • To provide the right environment for physical, intellectual, social and boost the emotional quotient in students with efforts to add values of good citizenship.
  • To conduct activities both inside and outside the campus for the benefit of society for a better environment to live.
  • To participate in collaboration with other organizations in carrying out social outreach programs.

The Institute appreciates the services provided by Students and Staff by considering their works for such activities as on duty. The network with the community is developed through NSS and NCC activities, MOUs and the social activities.

These activities pertain to the National Cadets Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Wing of Red Cross Society etc.

The institute extends financial assistance to all events organized under any one of the above groups.

INITIATIVES FOR INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT

The Institute has always strived to provide an inclusive environment and promote tolerance and social harmony amongst the students and staff members who come from diverse backgrounds. We have students and staff from different socioeconomic, linguistic, regional, communal and cultural backgrounds in our Institute. The Institute has always promoted values of tolerance and harmony amongst them and encourages activities that help to cultivate the feeling of togetherness. We conduct various activities under the auspicious of Departmental Associations, various clubs, Parent Teacher Meetings, Institute Alumni Association, NCC, NSS, EBSB club etc. with an intention of nurturing the culture of inclusiveness among various stakeholders of the Institute. These platforms bring about a spirit of team building, imitativeness and leadership among the students. A brief illustration of some of the important activities conducted in the Institute with a view to spread the message of integrity and inclusiveness are discussed below:
