Makers Space

This 10,000 sq.ft. exciting Makerspace is furnished with equipment ranging from small 3D printers to large industrial machining centers, such as, precision measurement and laser cutting machines, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, industry-standard lathes, milling machines and metal sheet cutters, rapid prototyping technology – multimaterial 3D printers, laser cutters and vacuum casting systems..

CNC Machining Center

Milling, lathing, and drilling operations on a single machine tool allow one machine to perform a greater variety of machining needs. The main purpose of the CNC machine center is to reduce production time and facilitate research in advanced mechanisms in the CNC technology.

CNC Lathe

CNC technology is widely used in the manufacturing industry. By applying CNC technology to the CNC lathe processing, the accuracy of parts can be effectively improved and the quality of parts processing can be ensured. The development of the mechanical manufacturing industry and the improvement of manufacturing capabilities create good conditions.

Cylindrical Grinding Machine

The ECO-200 Micromatic industry standard universal cylindrical grinding machine is used for grinding of components up to an accuracy of 5m and used for projects.

3D Printer

The main advantages of 3D printing are realized in its Speed, Flexibility, and Cost benefits. For small production runs, prototyping, small business, and educational use, 3D printing is vastly superior to other industrial methods.

LASER Engraving Machine

One of the biggest benefits of laser engraving is that it’s a non-contact process. This means that the laser beam isn’t physically touching the material that it is being applied to, instead relying on heat to achieve the desired results. This is a big benefit over more traditional methods, as it’s removed the abrasion damage that was historically often being left on materials. Instead, only the portion that laser is targeting will be vaporized, and the surrounding area is left untouched.
