It is a matter of great pride that the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE) is ranked one among the Top 200 best Engineering colleges as per NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework), Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India since 2017.

Laboratories

The department of CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) has 13 fully Air-conditioned computer labs, 290 latest Intel core i3/i5 computers running Linux/Windows Operating Systems. The department is providing sufficient computing facility for the students offering excellent training in computer programming. All these computing resources are inter-connected with high speed intranet having 1000 Mbps Internet connectivity to the outside world. The department has an MOU with Intel, established a research centre to train the faculty and students in the areas of Machine Learning and Deep Learning areas.

    Programming for Problem Solving Laboratory

    Programming for Problem Solving laboratory is designed to familiarize students with the basic components of programming, so as to be able to initiate the students into the discipline of Programming Languages. Through this lab student get the ability to design, develop, test and document structured programs in Python language. The expectation is that students will become self-sufficient in learning any programming language on their own thereafter.

    Data Structures Laboratory

    The main purpose is to study fundamental data structures, their design, implementation, efficiency and understand how the choice of data structures can lead to efficient implementations of algorithms in solving problems. Through this lab student will extend python programming skills in data structure implementations.

    Design and Analysis of Algorithms Laboratory

    Students will be able to solve problems which are algorithm based by using various design techniques. They will be able to apply prior knowledge of standard algorithms to solve new problems, and mathematically measure and compare the performance of different algorithms. They will be able to produce concise technical writing for describing the solutions and arguing their correctness.

    Programming with Objects Laboratory

    This laboratory reinforces understanding of basic object oriented programming concepts (objects, classes and subclasses, methods) and their expression in Java. Students are able to analyze and design a computer program to solve real world problems based on object-oriented principles and able to write simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) interfaces for a computer program to interact with users, and to understand the event-based GUI handling principles.

    Database Management Systems Laboratory

    The requirement of modern days is to have an automated system that manages, modifies and updates data accurately. This is achieved by a Database Management System (DBMS) in robust, correct and non-redundant way. Through DBMS laboratory, students will get knowledge about the database environment and a way to manage data. Students are made familiar with Oracle Software. Students will also be trained to do certifications in Oracle and advanced databases.

    Web System Engineering Laboratory

    The purpose of this lab is to develop the web applications through MVC architecture. The objective of the web technologies lab is to design web pages, client validations, server side scripting, data base connectivity. Through this lab the students can achieve an ability to design, implement and deploy static and dynamic web applications.

    Foundations of Machine Learning Laboratory

    The aim of this laboratory is to train a model on historical, labelled data (i.e., data for which the outcome is known) in order to predict the value of some quantity on the basis of a new data item for which the target value or classification is unknown. Machine learning is able to leverage large amounts of data to infer complex patterns that are otherwise beyond the capabilities of rule-based systems and human experts. Its application to laboratory medicine is particularly exciting, as laboratory testing provides much of the foundation for clinical decision making.

    Programming in Logic Laboratory

    Logic programming is a programming, database and knowledge representation paradigm based on formal logic. A logic program is a set of sentences in logical form, representing knowledge about some problem domain. Computation is performed by applying logical reasoning to that knowledge, to solve problems in the domain. Major logic programming language families include Prolog, Answer Set Programming (ASP) and Datalog. In all of these languages, rules are written in the form of clauses.

    Image and Speech Processing Laboratory

    The purpose of speech Processing Laboratory introducing the basic concepts of speech coding related to signal processing modules, deals with Speech processing, representation of speech signal to develop voice based interfaces for human-computer interaction. Such natural interfaces enable access to information via hands-free mode to literate, illiterate as well as vision impaired people.

    The purpose of the case tools laboratory is to understand the application of case tools, which focuses on software engineering activities further it, enables a clear understanding and knowledge of the foundations, techniques, and tools in the area of software engineering and its practice in the industry.     Natural Language Processing Laboratory

    Natural language processing is transforming the way to analyze and interact with language-based data by training machines to make sense of text and speech, and perform automated tasks like translation, summarization, classification, and extraction. These technologies include core NLP tasks such as relation extraction, coreference resolution, and parsing, and make use of statistical machine learning methods. Use cases for clinical NLP include automated phenotyping, cohort identification, and clinical question answering.

    Augment Reality / Virtual Reality Laboratory

    The laboratory provide students with hands-on experience in using cutting-edge technologies to visualize complex concepts, conduct experiments, and develop solutions to real-world problems. AR & VR labs can also foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, which are essential for success in careers.

    VR immerses users in a completely new digital environment, providing an interactive experience through the use of headsets or glasses. AR complements the real-world environment by overlaying digital objects onto it, augmenting it with extra information or enhancing its functionality.
