Akanksha - e-Learning Content Management Portal

About

Keeping our students engaged and connected to course content is at the top of an instructor’s wish. In 2021, we started a new website called “Akanksha” – a learning management portal, to provide a unique and customized platform for students to access the information they needed to succeed in their studies. Any of courses can be studied anywhere, anytime and completed at your own pace.

You can access all materials by enrol on courses. You will find all the learning material related to your course and e-resources stored on LMS.

  1. Career Development Learning Materials
  2. ELRV recorded videos lectures
  3. Course Full Stack – Learning Materials
  4. Student Learning Models – Projects / Products
  5. Teaching Laboratory Exercises and Manuals
  6. Technical / HR Interview Experiences
  7. e-Resources

1. Career Development Learning Materials:

Career development learning material has been created to support IARE students in understanding and developing their job-related competencies. These self-paced courses can be completed in any order.

2. ELRV recorded videos lectures:

Our e-learning readiness video lectures cover a wide range of engineering branches - Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Electronics and Communications, Civil, Aeronautical, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering (including AI&ML, Data Science and Cyber Security). Also Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

Our online engineering courses are designed to be flexible and convenient, allowing students to study at their own pace and on their own schedule.

There are no exams, no deadlines and no schedules. You are in control of your own learning. We offer a range of resources and support services from experienced engineering faculty to help our students succeed.

3. Course Full Stack – Learning Materials:

No two students are the same: they vary in academic backgrounds, learning styles, motivation levels, personalities, and cultures. To support teachers’ efforts to teach content and develop essential learning skills, we’re offering a collection of resources that teachers can share with students.

The course materials that are shared for student learning are:

  1. Course Outline Description
  2. Lecture notes
  3. PowerPoint presentation
  4. Definitions and Terminology
  5. Tutorial Question Bank
  6. Case Studies
  7. Real life Examples
  8. Complex Engineering Problems

4. Student Learning Models – Projects / Products:

Student learning models are High impact practices are pathways to student success, designed for students to deepen their learning experience, prepare them for advanced roles in engineering, and enhance their ability to contribute meaningfully to their fields.

This practices can significantly boost placement prospects for engineering students by making them more competitive, versatile, and attractive to potential employers. They integrate knowledge, critical thinking, and hands-on complex problem-solving, creating a well-rounded educational foundation. Here are some key pathways that benefit engineering students:

  1. Cornerstone Projects (CoPs)
  2. Side Project (SP)
  3. Software Engineering / Software Design Projects
  4. Fundamental AI (FunAI) Projects
  5. Summer Research Internship (SRI) Projects
  6. Engineering Design and Development (EDD) Projects
  7. Technology Innovation and Product Support (TIPS)
  8. Vertically Integrated Projects (VIPs)
  9. Projects In Community Services (PICS)
  10. AI in Software Development Life Cycle (AI in SDLC) Projects
  11. Capstone Projects

5. Teaching Laboratory Exercises and Manuals:

The documents contain the teaching laboratory manuals and detailed laboratory exercises designed for implementation by IARE as part of their curriculum.

6. Technical / HR Interview Experiences:

Campus Placements / Campus Recruitment drives are conducted in IARE for providing job opportunities to the students who are pursuing their studies in final year. Campus Placements offer a student a wonderful opportunity to get placed during the course of his academic pursuits, and provide him the comforts of a safe and secure future.

Keeping in mind the importance of the campus placement programs, it is vital for a student to prepare adequately and make sure that they put their best foot forward.

Going through the articles presented, just revolves around student interview experiences to get selected in the on campus placements.

7. e-Resources:

e-resources are learning, teaching and research materials in any format and medium that reside in the public domain or are under copyright that have been released under an open license, that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation and redistribution by others.
