Vision & Mission

VISION

To build a strong community of dedicated graduates with expertise in the field of aeronautical science and engineering suitable for industrial needs having a sense of responsibility, ethics and ready to participate in aerospace activities of national and global interest.

The department's vision is pursued with regards to the Institute’s vision, holistic dimensions and their objectives via four value-creation chains:

- Professionally Competent
To produce graduates with strong technical proficiency, analytical ability, and innovative thinking in aeronautical science and engineering, enabling them to excel in industry, research, and development sectors.

- Ethically Driven Professionals of Global Standards
To instill in students a strong sense of ethics, integrity, and professionalism, ensuring that they uphold global standards of practice while serving the aerospace community with responsibility and moral commitment.

- Culturally Inclusive
To develop graduates with effective communication skills, global awareness, and cross-cultural understanding, enabling them to collaborate and lead in diverse, multidisciplinary, and international environments.

- Socially Responsible
To nurture engineers who are conscious of their societal responsibilities, contributing to sustainable technological growth and addressing contemporary challenges in aviation and aerospace for the betterment of society.

MISSION

To actively participate in the technological, economic and social development of the nation through academic and professional contributions to aerospace and aviation areas, fostering academic excellence and scholarly learning among students of aeronautical engineering.

Responsibly approaching the Institute’s role in the society and the significance of the created added-value, and taking into consideration the needs of stakeholders, the following missions are stipulated:

M1: To provide an extensive and exceptional education that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required to excel in their careers and contribute effectively to the aerospace industry
This mission statement emphasizes the department’s dedication to providing quality education and extensive training. By combining a solid theoretical foundation with hands-on practical experience, students are equipped with the technical expertise, analytical thinking, and professional ethics necessary to excel in diverse aerospace careers.

M2: To nurture creative leadership qualities and develop the ability to address complex technical challenges with innovation, critical thinking, and ethical responsibility
The department focus on developing leadership and problem-solving abilities among students and encourages creativity, innovation, teamwork, and ethical responsibility, preparing graduates to lead effectively in multidisciplinary and technologically dynamic environments.

M3: To promote research and innovation aimed at generating new knowledge, advancing aerospace technologies, and fostering a culture of lifelong learning
The department nurtures research-oriented learning among students and faculty, encouraging them to undertake innovative projects, publish scholarly work, and participate in national and international competitions, thereby contributing to the continual advancement of aerospace science and technology.

M4: To encourage entrepreneurship and economic development, empowering graduates to create sustainable solutions and contribute to the advancement of the wider community and the nation
The department facilitates to national and economic development by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset among students. It encourages graduates to apply their engineering knowledge to develop sustainable, real-world solutions that drive industrial growth, support technological innovation.
