The seed for the Computer Society of India (CSI) was first shown in the year 1965 with a handful of IT enthusiasts who were a computer user group and felt the need to organize their activities. Today the CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India. The purposes of the Society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT. The organization has grown to an enviable size of 100,000 strong members consisting of professionals with varied backgrounds including Software developers, Scientists, Academicians, Project Managers, CIO's , CTO's & IT vendors to just name a few. It has spread its branches all over the country. Currently having more than 500 student branches and rooted firmly at 73 different locations, CSI has plans of opening many more chapters & activity centers in smaller towns and cities of the country. The idea is to spread the knowledge, and provide opportunities to as many interested as possible.
IARE Student Branch of Computer Society of India (ISB-CSI) started in the year 2008 with a group of IT and CSE students who were a computer user group and felt the need to organize their activities. Today the ISB CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for Student professionals in IARE. The purposes of the ISB-CSI are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT.
As Part Of Its Endeavor To Bring Together And Assimilate Various Aspects of IT, ISB-CSI Conducts Premier Events Such As A National Convention, Workshops, Seminars, Lectures, Projects, Trainings, Technical Competitions , Technical Events, Show Cases, Awards etc.

The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), the premier professional body of engineers in India, has contributed significantly in all faculties of engineering and all sectors of applications like academics, administration, industry, infrastructure and consultancy. IEI has been functioning under the objectives laid down in the Royal Charter, sanctioned in 1935, and has contributed to the national socio-techno -economic development policies.
First ever attempt for formulating a 'Strategic Plan' for IEI was made in1994. It has taken 20 years since then to concretize and evolve the IEI Vision. In 2012 the IEI Council approved and adopted the 10 Year Strategic Plan for 2012-22 to coincide with 12th and 13th Five Year Plans. The Strategic Plan mandated IEI to develop its Vision Document. I had the privilege to be given the task of preparing the Draft of IEI Vision, which has now been approved and adopted by the IEI Council. IEI Vision
Document is based on the Strategic Plan approved by the Council. The idea to develop this document is to concretize and present a Vision for the future so that the members accept to ethically follow the approved road map for development. The Vision Document is based on the present and future global sustainable development approach and the profile of the professional engineers to respond to those needs. The Vision of IEI includes the Road Map for attaining the Vision in terms of Mission, Objectives, Strategies, Functions and Ethical Behaviour. This document presents the IEI Vision to overcome the challenges of the next decade and ensure sustainable development. Eleven different Key Actions have been identified to ensure successful transformation. IEI Vision supports ethical behavior in pursuit
IEI CHAPTER was established at Institute of Aeronautical Engineering in the year 2012.
IARE encourages the students and staff equally to become a member and take advantage of the various benefits of the Chapter. The IEI chapter of IARE conducts various events such as expert lectures, workshops, seminars, Industrial visits, etc. to assist staff and students for updating their technical knowledge.
The department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a National seminar on “Emerging trends on material sciences and technologies” in association with IEI, A.P Centre in the month of March 2014
ANTARIKSH was formed by a group of Aeronautical students who are professional in Aero-Modeling and Designing on 19th October 2012. The main idea behind ANTARIKSH is to impart practical knowledge through live projects by modeling and its fundamental principles. It gives a brilliant chance to explore one’s space of interest.
Our vision is to provide sound and practical knowledge to students and enthusiasts. The schedule is planned in such a way that students can strengthen their academic basics and learn beyond the theoretical concepts.
The club won 2nd price as exhibitor at the International Conference and Exhibition on Regional Transport Aircraft conducted by the Aeronautical Society of India.
The Department of Aeronautical Engineering started the Aero club ANTHARIKSH in the year 2013.
ANTARIKSH organized a 2 day National level Socio tech fair- AURA 2k14, which included 23 technical workshops(for all engineering branches) ,seminars, Project Expo, guest lectures from technical and non - technical experts. The AIRSHOW was the highlight of the event. It was an open fair for all age groups, Schools, colleges, graduates, employees and parents.
This event was conducted at BHEL STADIUM, Ramachandrapuram on 4th and 5th of March 2k14.
The SAEINDIA recognized the formation of SAEINDIA Collegiate Club of IARE in the year 2011
SAEINDIA is India's leading resource for mobility technology. As an individual member driven society of mobility practitioners the ownership of SAEINDIA wrests with its members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics and Students
SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India.
The founding principle of the SAE International is to unite scientific and technical staff to perform free academic discussions, to dedicate themselves to the cause of prospering the science and technology for automotive vehicles and to make contributions to speed up the modernization of automotive industry.
A great deal of effort has been expended to make these definitions suit this purpose. It is recognized quite well by both SAEINDIA and SAE International which keeps on raising its bar on standards since like linguistic dictionaries; even our efforts and purpose must be revised periodically to reflect current usage and changing needs.
